Costumes
Costumes I've created for theater productions and performances. Given a script, I create a custom costume story for each character. The costumes start with a sketch and consult with the actors and design team, and are usually revised along the way. Costumes are created with thrift store and custom created clothing, and one-of-a kind pieces built by me. I specialize in masks, most of which are made using the traditional Venetian style of sculpting from clay, making a mold, and eventually the mask is created with a stronger version of paper mache. Some masks are larger mascot style builds, with foam, fur, or feathers.
